How to set up Unigui to run on Linux Operating System
The latest version of uniGUI, 1534 and up, started to support Linux, so I quickly tried it. After some toss, I finally succeeded in running uniGUI under Linux. Record the entire configuration process.
Because it is a test, install the Ubuntu desktop version 16.0 using a virtual machine. I will not introduce it in detail here. If you don’t understand, you can find the information on the Internet.
Install linux remote connection tool
I installed WinScp here (you can find and download and install it on the Internet if you don’t have one). After installation, create a new session, enter the ip of the linux machine, user name and password to connect, and then upload the local files to linux. in.
Copy the PAServer installation file in the delphi xe installation directory to the linux server, and unzip the file.
Run PAServer in linux server
Open the terminal manager, go to the decompressed directory, and run ./paserver, you can set a password or not when running.
Then PAServer is up and running, the port is 64211
Configure delphi xe linux SDK
Update SDK to local
There are a lot of downloaded files, just wait for it to download, save and exit after downloading.
Use the wizard to create a regular unigui project, and modify the compiled target platform to linux
Compile and run the project: compile the project, if the compilation is correct, you can run it, if everything is normal, the project should be running under linux normally, open the URL of the virtual machine with a browser to see if it runs normally, of course, remember To upload all the runtime files used in uniGUI operation to the linux server, and specify the path.
